Add Record (New Asset)
Assetic myData allows Users to add new records in multiple ways. New validation rules are implemented which prevent Users from adding invalid data.
Also, the auto asset ID generator feature (if activated) will generate asset ID's as per the chosen method. Users can choose to assign a parent asset while creating a new record.
New assets can be added using one of the following options:
- Bulk Import (Multiple Records) - from external source
- Microsoft Excel files
- SQL table
- TAB files and
- Other external sources
- Manual Entry (Single Asset Record)
- Using Add feature
- Using Template
- Using Current Asset
